Positive: The property is really well suited to families. 5 restaurants, a massive water slide, fantastic beach, nightly entertainment. What’s not to love? We booked two standard family rooms for our family of 5 but both rooms were upgraded to deluxe family rooms and we loved the extra space. Mehmet from the front desk was exceptional. From before we booked in, until the day we left, he went out of his way to ensure we had great information, excellent advice and ensured we were well looked after. He even sent me images of the fitness centre ahead of our visit as I was training for a multi-day MTB race during our visit. Other stand out staff were Abdullah from the bar, and Yagmar and Umut from the main restaurant who were always friendly and welcoming.
Negative: The property is starting to age and it shows in small areas. The bottoms of the doors in the bathrooms, the shower itself and surely an upgrade must be in the offing soon. Nothing serious but it’s noticeable. It’s also quite a drive from everywhere - especially with Bodrum traffic. 40mins to main Bodrum Marina. 25 mins to Turgutreis. The beach is lovely but if you’re wanting to see some sights it’s not that central. Then the price of the watersports offering is exorbitant. Why anyone would pay €20 for 30m on a SuP board is beyond me. As a family who has spent a lot of time in Mauritius, where all non-motorised water sports are free, this was crazy expensive. Finally, there seem to be some desperately unhappy staff at the resort. Other than those mentioned - and the excellent entertainment team - you are barely greeted by staff that walk past you. It just gives the feeling of being processed, rather than hosted, and that’s a pity because it’s a lovely venue.
Summary: Lovely beach hotel - great for families but could use a bit of a spruce!

Positive: In terms of value for money this property is a gem: - clean beach and crystal clear water - very green territory - delicious cuisine with everything made in the house - staff was very very helpful - coffee house was my favourite spot - we were upgraded free of charge - kids’ club - evening shows

Positive: Possibly one of the lost luxurious resorts we have stayed at. The luxury doesn't come from gimmicks like other resorts but from the relaxed vibe and freedom to truly do anything and it's all included in the price. The whole place feels like a little village and is beautiful to walk around, there is an onsite coffee shop multiple bars and the place never feels over crowded. Great children's facilities and the staff are very friendly but also feel invisible so that you get left alone to enjoy your stay. The food was so delicious and full of flavour. Never left feeling hungry. Everyday was something new
Negative: The rooms could do with better sound insulation and more modern TV's. However they are very large and spacious, have comfortable bedding and a FREE bar that gets restocked daily.

Positive: We had a wonderful stay at Selectum Collection! The food was excellent with a wide variety, and the cleaning was absolutely perfect. The service was outstanding, every staff member was so kind, helpful, and professional. Special thanks to Mr Erhan and his team for making our holiday unforgettable. The only bad part was having to leave from there. Highly recommended!
